Description

I created a bespoke solution for Albumtagz, a company specializing in personalized NFC-enabled keychains that connect users to their favorite music. The core of this project was integrating the Spotify API to allow customers to search for their preferred albums or tracks directly on the Albumtagz platform, transforming search results into fully functional Shopify products in real time.

To ensure a seamless e-commerce experience, I developed an automated product management system. This system dynamically generates Shopify products from Spotify search results and includes robust cleanup mechanisms, such as automatically removing unused products and deleting fulfilled orders from the Shopify store. This automation significantly reduces manual overhead and maintains a clean, efficient product catalog, allowing Albumtagz to focus on delivering a superior customer experience.

The solution empowers Albumtagz to offer a unique product: custom NFC keychains embedded with links to a customer’s chosen Spotify album or track. By simply scanning the keychain with a smartphone, users can instantly access their favorite music, blending physical products with digital convenience. My work on this project combined innovative API integration, automated e-commerce workflows, and user-centric design to create a scalable, efficient, and engaging solution that enhances Albumtagz’s ability to deliver personalized products to music enthusiasts worldwide.
